Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is better than the Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite, having a general score of 61.4 against 54.5. These devices include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a newer 4.1 version while Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite has Android 4.0.3, so it counts with lots of additional features and performance improvements. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) design is thinner but way heavier than the Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite, and both were released with only 5 months difference.

Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite counts with a bit better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a lot worse resolution of 600 x 1024 and a much smaller screen, it also counts with a bit higher display density. Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite has a little bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), although it has a lower number of cores , they both have a 1 GB RAM memory.

The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a slightly better memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) also has a SD memory slot that admits up to 64 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) shoots much better pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite, although it has a lower 3 mega pixels resolution camera in the back.

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a much longer battery life than Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite, because it has a 7000mAh battery size.
