The Sony Tablet S has a score of 57.5, which is slightly better than Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue's overall score of 57.3. Although it's the best portable tablet in this comparison review, the Sony Tablet S design is notably heavier and a little thicker than the Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue. Both tablets in this review use Android operating system, but Sony Tablet S has the previous 4.0 version and Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue has Android 4.1.
The Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue features a little more vivid screen than Sony Tablet S, because although it has a way worse 1024 x 600 resolution and a really smaller display, it also counts with a just a bit higher display density. Sony Tablet S features a much greater storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue, and although they both have a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 32 GB, the Sony Tablet S also has 24 GB more internal storage.
Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue features a bit better performance than Sony Tablet S, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue also has a greater number of faster cores. The Sony Tablet S features superior battery duration than Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
The Sony Tablet S takes much clearer pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue, because it has a much better 5 MP resolution back facing camera.
Although Sony Tablet S is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Sony Tablet S, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei MediaPad 7 Vogue, resigning some features and specs.
