The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has an overall score of 61.4, which is slightly better than the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2's 56.3 general score. These tablets work with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has the older 4.1 version and Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2 has Android 4.3. Despite of the fact the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is older and a lot heavier than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, it's construction is still a little bit thinner.
The Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2 has a sharper display than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way lower resolution of 1024 x 600px and a way smaller display, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch in the screen. Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2 also has a graphics processor and a higher number of faster cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) counts with a much better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, because it has 8 GB internal storage and a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 64 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) shoots better photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2. Both have the same resolution back-facing camera.
Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a really longer battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, because it has a 7000mAh battery size instead of 4100mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, letting go some specs and features.
