The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has an overall score of 66.2, which is better than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2's 56.3 general score. Both tablets in this review have Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has 4.4.2 version and Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2 has Android 4.3, so it offers some nice extra features and performance enhancements. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a lighter and way thinner device than the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, even though both were released only a few months apart.
Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 and Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2 feature extremely similar processing units, and although the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a much better graphics processor and 512 MB more RAM memory, they both have a Quad-Core processor. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a little bit better looking display than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, because it has a better 1280 x 800 resolution, a quite larger display and a just a little higher screen density.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a better camera than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2. Both have a back-facing camera with a 3 MP. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features a very superior memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, because it has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 64 GB and 16 GB internal memory capacity.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features just a little bit longer battery performance than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, because it has a 9 percent larger battery capacity.
Even being the best tablet in this comparison, Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is also by far the cheapest one.
