Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 8.9 is just a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, getting a overall score of 58.1 against 56.3. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 8.9 has the previous 3.0 version while Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2 has Android 4.3. Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a notably older and noticeably heavier portable tablet than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, but Samsung managed to build it thinner anyway.

Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2 counts with a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has an additional graphics co-processor and a larger number of faster cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a screen that is just as good as the screen in Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a bigger screen and a higher 800 x 1280 resolution, they both have the same pixel density.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 shoots clearer videos and photos than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2. Both of them have a same resolution camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 features a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 has a much better battery life than Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, because it has a 6000mAh battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab 8.9 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 8.9, else you can save some money and get the Huawei MediaPad 7 Youth2, giving up a couple features and specs.
