Comparison review
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is just a bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1, getting a 62.3 score against 61.5. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 has a newer 4.4 version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8's construction is a little thinner and just a little lighter than the Huawei MediaPad M1.
Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a superior CPU than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has more CPU cores, more RAM and a graphics processing unit. The Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 features a better display than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 also has more pixels per inch of display and a lot higher resolution of 1920 x 1200.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with just a bit more memory for applications and games than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, although it has only 8 GB internal storage. Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 captures a bit better photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1. They have the same resolution back camera. Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with better battery duration than Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8, because it has a 4800mAh battery size.
Although Alcatel OneTouch Hero 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei MediaPad M1. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy the Huawei MediaPad M1, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most with your money.
