Comparison review
Huawei MediaPad M1 is just a bit better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, having a 61.5 score against 60.8. The Huawei MediaPad M1 body is thinner but a little bit heavier than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and both of them were released only a couple months apart. Both tablets in this comparison review come with the same Android 4.2.2 operating system, so they should provide very similar OS features.
The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 counts with a better performing processing unit than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 also has a graphics co-processor and more RAM. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a much more vibrant screen than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a much higher quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 shoots a lot better photographs and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a much better memory capacity for applications and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a much longer battery life than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7.
Although Huawei MediaPad M1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
