IPod Touch 5th Generation has a global score of 62.7, which is just a bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1's general score of 61.5. The iPod Touch 5th Generation has iOS 7.x operating system, while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 operating system. The iPod Touch 5th Generation construction is way thinner and much lighter than the Huawei MediaPad M1, even though it was released around 18 months before.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 features a little faster processor than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores and 512 MB more RAM. IPod Touch 5th Generation has a more vivid screen than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has a little worse resolution of 1136 x 640px and a much smaller screen, it also counts with way more pixels per inch of screen.
IPod Touch 5th Generation has much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Huawei MediaPad M1 features a much longer battery lifetime than iPod Touch 5th Generation, because it has 4800mAh of battery capacity instead of 1030mAh.
The iPod Touch 5th Generation captures greater photographs and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1. Both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality, the same video frame rate and a 5 megapixels camera in the back.
Although Apple iPod Touch 5th Generation is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei MediaPad M1. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Huawei MediaPad M1, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
