Both tablets we are comparing have Android OS (operating system), but the Huawei MediaPad M1 has older 4.2.2 version while LG G Pad 8.0 has Android 5.0. The Huawei MediaPad M1 is a incredibly thinner and just a little lighter tablet device than the LG G Pad 8.0.

The LG G Pad 8.0 and Huawei MediaPad M1 feature very similar screens, both of them have a higher pixels amount in each inch of screen, the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800 and a screen with the same size.

LG G Pad 8.0 features a way bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 16 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB. Although Huawei MediaPad M1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than LG G Pad 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG G Pad 8.0. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Huawei MediaPad M1, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the LG G Pad 8.0, giving up a couple features and specifications.
