The Huawei MediaPad M1 is slightly better than the Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, having a general score of 61.5 against 60.4. Both of these tablets include Android operating system, but Huawei MediaPad M1 has a newer 4.2.2 version and Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition has Android 3.2 version, giving a lot of extra features. The Huawei MediaPad M1 is a a lot newer tablet, and it is also thinner and lighter than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition.

Huawei MediaPad M1 has a slightly better looking screen than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 1280 x 800px, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with a little more pixels per inch of screen. The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition counts with a much bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 24 GB more internal memory capacity.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 features a little faster processor than Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, and they both have 1 GB of RAM, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with 2 more cpu cores.
