Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a global score of 62.7, which is slightly better than Huawei MediaPad M1's general score of 61.5. These tablets use Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has older 4.0 version and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better tablet device than Huawei MediaPad M1, we must highlight that it is also an older, somewhat thicker and much heavier tablet device.
Huawei MediaPad M1 and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 have very similar processors, because although the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has an inferior number of cores, and they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, it also counts with an extra graphics processor. Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have an equal 1280 x 800px resolution, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with a better count of pixels per inch of screen.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a back-facing camera with much more mega pixels. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a slightly better storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a way better battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a 7000mAh battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei MediaPad M1. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Huawei MediaPad M1, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
