Huawei MediaPad M1 has a score of 61.5, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1)'s 61.4 score. Both tablets we compare here work with Android operating system, but the Huawei MediaPad M1 has a newer 4.2.2 version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has Android 4.1. Huawei MediaPad M1's design is newer, thinner and extremely lighter than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1).
The Huawei MediaPad M1 features a sharper display than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with a greater screen density. Huawei MediaPad M1 has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also has 2 more cores.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) features a little bit better camera than Huawei MediaPad M1, although it has a way less mega pixels camera and a lot worse (HD) video resolution. Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a bit more memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same 8 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB.
The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a much longer battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity instead of 4800mAh.
Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing, the Huawei MediaPad M1 is also a lot cheaper, which makes it a no doubt choice.
