The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a little bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1, with a 66.2 score against 61.5. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a a little bit lighter portable tablet than the Huawei MediaPad M1, but they are 0.31inches thick. Both devices in this review have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has 4.4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 and the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 both count with quite similar displays, they have the same screen pixel density, a same size screen and the same exact 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0's processing unit is very similar to the CPU in Huawei MediaPad M1, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a larger amount of RAM memory and a graphics co-processor, they both have a Quad-Core CPU.
Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 features just a bit better camera than Huawei MediaPad M1, although it has a much worse video definition and a much lower 3 MP resolution camera in the back.
