The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is just a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M1, with a general score of 64.8 against 61.5. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 body has the same thickness than Huawei MediaPad M1, but it is just a little heavier. Both devices in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has the previous 4.0.4 version and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Huawei MediaPad M1 both feature very similar screens, because although the Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a quite smaller display, and they both have the same 800 x 1280px resolution, it also counts with a just a little more pixels per inch in the display. The Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics co-processor, and they both have the same RAM amount, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with a higher number of cores.
Huawei MediaPad M1 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a much more MP camera in the back and a lot better 1920x1080 video quality. Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have a SD memory slot that holds a maximum of 32 GB, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 also has 64 GB internal storage.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with a little longer battery duration than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a 6% larger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Huawei MediaPad M1. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Tab 7.7, else you can save some money and get the Huawei MediaPad M1, giving up a couple features and specs.
