Comparison review

Huawei MediaPad M1 has an overall score of 61.5, which is slightly better than Galaxy Tab's 58.6 general score. These devices have Android operating system, but the Huawei MediaPad M1 has a more recent 4.2.2 version and Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3, providing a couple nice extra features. Huawei MediaPad M1 is a notably newer tablet, and it is also incredibly thinner and lighter than Galaxy Tab.

Huawei MediaPad M1 has a greater processing power than Galaxy Tab, because it has a larger number of cores and more RAM memory. Huawei MediaPad M1 has a more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab, because it has a quite better pixels amount per inch in the screen, a higher 1280 x 800 resolution and a little bigger display.

Galaxy Tab features a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage. The Huawei MediaPad M1 has longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab, because it has a 20% bigger battery size.

Galaxy Tab shoots a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, although it has a lot lower 720x480 video definition and a way lower 3 mega-pixels resolution back facing camera.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 is more expensive than the Galaxy Tab, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
