Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has a score of 76.7, which is way better than the Huawei MediaPad M1's 61.5 global score. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is a newer and thinner device than the Huawei MediaPad M1, but it is much heavier. These tablets work with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 has older 13 version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 counts with a much better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory. Huawei MediaPad M1 has a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab S8, although it has a way lower 1280 x 800px resolution, a lot lower screen pixel density and a lot smaller display.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 counts with much more memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 120 GB more internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that holds a maximum of 1 TB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 features a way better camera than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a much higher resolution back camera and a lot better 3840x2160 video quality.
The Galaxy Tab S8 features a way better battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has an 8000mAh battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei MediaPad M1. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei MediaPad M1, giving up some specifications.
