Comparison review
Huawei MediaPad M1 has a general score of 61.5, which is just a bit better than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's overall score of 57.6. Both of these tablets come with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei MediaPad M1 has the older 4.2.2 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. The Huawei MediaPad M1 is a just a little bit lighter tablet than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but they are equally thin.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a little bit better processing power than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has 4 more CPU cores and more RAM memory. Huawei MediaPad M1 features a little bit better looking screen than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, although it has a much worse pixel quantity per inch of screen and a way lower resolution of 1280 x 800px, they both have a same size display.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has a much greater memory for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that supports a maximum of 128 GB and 16 GB internal storage capacity. The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a much better camera than Huawei MediaPad M1, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rates, the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD also has a lot more mega pixels camera.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a bit longer battery life than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a 5100mAh battery capacity against 4800mAh.
In addition to being the best tablet in our comparison, Huawei MediaPad M1 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, which makes it an easy decision.
