The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a score of 69.2, which is a bit better than Huawei MediaPad M2's 65.5 score. The Galaxy Note 8.0 is a just a bit heavier tablet than Huawei MediaPad M2, but they have the same thickness. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 8.0 has older 4.4.2 version and Huawei MediaPad M2 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Huawei MediaPad M2, because although it has an inferior number of cores and also slower and lesser RAM memory, it also counts with an additional GPU. The Huawei MediaPad M2 counts with a much better display than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also has more pixels per display inch and a way better resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 counts with much more storage for games and applications than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has an external memory slot that allows up to 128 GB and 32 GB internal memory. The Galaxy Note 8.0 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad M2, although it has a much worse 1280x720 video resolution and a back camera with a much lower 5 mega-pixels resolution.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 counts with a bit superior battery life than Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has 4800mAh of battery capacity instead of 4600mAh.
