The Huawei MediaPad M2 has an overall score of 65.5, which is a bit better than Galaxy Tab 7.7's 64.8 general score. Huawei MediaPad M2 is a a little bit lighter tablet than Galaxy Tab 7.7, but both have the same thickness. Both devices in this review work with Android operating system, but Huawei MediaPad M2 has newer 5.1 Lollipop version and Galaxy Tab 7.7 has Android 4.0.4, providing you some extra features and improved performance.
Huawei MediaPad M2 counts with a better performing processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with a larger number of cores and more RAM memory. The Huawei MediaPad M2 features a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen, a little bit bigger screen and a lot higher 1200 x 1920 resolution.
Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a bigger memory to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad M2, because although it has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds 96 GB smaller, it also counts with 32 GB more internal memory. Huawei MediaPad M2 captures much clearer photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, because it has a lot more megapixels back-facing camera and a much better (Full HD) video definition.
The Galaxy Tab 7.7 counts with just a little better battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M2, because it has a 5100mAh battery capacity.
