The Huawei MediaPad M2 has a general score of 65.5, which is better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9's general score of 58.1. Both tablets in this review have Android OS, but the Huawei MediaPad M2 has newer 5.1 Lollipop version and Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0, so it gives you lots of additional features. The Huawei MediaPad M2 construction is a lot newer, a lot lighter and just a little bit thinner than Galaxy Tab 8.9.
The Huawei MediaPad M2 has a very superior performance than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a higher number of cores. The Huawei MediaPad M2 has a little sharper screen than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 pixels and a lot better display density.
The Huawei MediaPad M2 shoots better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a back camera with a lot better resolution and a way better (Full HD) video quality. The Huawei MediaPad M2 counts with a slightly bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because although it has less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 128 GB.
