Comparison review

Galaxy Note 8.0 has an overall score of 68.4, which is a little bit better than Huawei MediaPad M2's general score of 64.7. Both devices in this review include Android operating system, but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has older 4.4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad M2 has Android 5.1 version. The Galaxy Note 8.0 design has the same thickness than Huawei MediaPad M2, but it's just a little heavier.

Huawei MediaPad M2 features a lot better looking screen than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also has a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1200 and more pixels per display inch. Huawei MediaPad M2 has a little bit better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 128 GB.

Galaxy Note 8.0 features just a little better performance than Huawei MediaPad M2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit and a larger number of cores (although they are slower). Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a slightly better camera than Huawei MediaPad M2, although it has a much lower 1280x720 (HD) video definition and a back facing camera with a lot worse 5 mega pixels resolution.

The Huawei MediaPad M2 counts with a bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 4800mAh battery capacity.

Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is also very cheap compared to the other tablets, which makes this tablet an obvious call.
