The Galaxy Note 8.0 design has the same thickness than Huawei MediaPad M2, but it's just a little heavier.
Huawei MediaPad M2 features a lot better looking screen than Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also has a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1200 and more pixels per display inch. Huawei MediaPad M2 has a little bit better memory capacity to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 128 GB.
Galaxy Note 8.0 features just a little better performance than Huawei MediaPad M2, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit and a larger number of cores (although they are slower). Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a slightly better camera than Huawei MediaPad M2, although it has a much lower 1280x720 (HD) video definition and a back facing camera with a lot worse 5 mega pixels resolution.
