Comparison review
The iPad Air 2 has a score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M5 8's global score of 75.5. IPad Air 2 is an a lot older and extremely heavier tablet device than the Huawei MediaPad M5 8, but Apple managed to build it thinner anyway. The iPad Air 2 comes with iOS 8.x OS, and Huawei MediaPad M5 8 works with Android 8.0 Oreo OS.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 has just a bit better hardware performance than iPad Air 2, because although it has a 32-bits CPU against 64-bits, it also counts with a greater amount of RAM and a greater number of cores. Apple iPad Air 2 features a bit sharper display than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because although it has a bit worse 2048 x 1536 resolution and a much lower display pixel density, it also counts with a bigger display.
Huawei MediaPad M5 8 counts with a superior storage to store more apps and games than Apple iPad Air 2, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Huawei MediaPad M5 8 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Apple iPad Air 2 has a much longer battery life than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, because it has 7340mAh of battery capacity.
The iPad Air 2 shoots slightly better videos and photos than Huawei MediaPad M5 8, although it has a back-facing camera with lot less MP and a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and videos.
