The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), having a 73.3 score against 59.7. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite body is thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but it's extremely heavier and was released around 20 months before. These tablets come with Android operating system, but the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has older 8.0 Oreo version and Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie.
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a little better processing power than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a greater number of cores (and also faster) and 1 GB more RAM.
