Comparison review
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a general score of 73.3, which is a little bit better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9's 67.9 overall score. Both of these tablets work with Android OS, but Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has newer 8.0 Oreo version while Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.4 version, so it offers some nice extra features. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite's body has the same thickness than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, but it is notably heavier.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite features just a little better processing power than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, because it has a larger number of cores and more RAM memory. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with an incredibly better display than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1600 x 2560px resolution and a lot greater pixel amount per display inch.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite features a slightly better camera than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. Both of them have a 8 mega-pixels resolution camera in the back, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with a much better storage capacity to install applications and games than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have the same internal storage, the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
