Comparison review
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is slightly better than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, getting a 73.3 score against 68.5. Although the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is somewhat heavier than the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, it's just a little thinner and also newer. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has Android 4.2.2, so it provides the user some nice extra features.
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite features just a little better performance than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, because although it has doesn't have a GPU, it also counts with 2 GB more RAM and more processing cores. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a much more vibrant screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better display density and a higher 1600 x 2560 resolution.
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has much more memory to store more games and applications than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite features a much longer battery lifetime than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9.
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite takes clearer photos and videos than Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9. Both of them have a same resolution camera in the back.
