The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has an overall score of 73.3, which is a little bit better than the Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s general score of 70.8. These tablets work with Android operating system, but Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a newer 8.0 Oreo version and Google Nexus 7 (2013) has Android 5.0 version. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite's body is incredibly newer and thinner than Google Nexus 7 (2013)'s, although it is also way heavier.
Google Nexus 7 (2013) features a more vivid screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have the same 1200 x 1920 resolution, the Google Nexus 7 (2013) also counts with a better pixels number per inch of screen. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with much more storage to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows up to 256 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a bit faster processor than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processing unit, it also counts with more processing cores and more RAM. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a little bit better camera than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite also has a camera with a way better resolution.
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Google Nexus 7 (2013), because it has a 7500mAh battery capacity.
Although Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is a better device, it costs more money than Google Nexus 7 (2013), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Nexus 7 (2013). So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Nexus 7 (2013), giving up some specifications.
