Comparison review
Google Nexus 9 is slightly better than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, getting a score of 74.5 against 73.3. Both of these devices use Android OS (Operating System), but Google Nexus 9 has the older 5.0 version while Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Even though the Google Nexus 9 is older and just a little thicker than the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, it's construction is still just a bit lighter.
Google Nexus 9 counts with an incredibly better display than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a slightly better 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution and more pixels per display inch. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Google Nexus 9, because it has an external memory slot that supports up to 256 GB and more internal memory capacity.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite and the Google Nexus 9 feature really similar processing units, because although the Google Nexus 9 has a smaller amount of RAM memory and an inferior number of slower cores, it also counts with a 64-bits processor. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite features a little longer battery lifetime than Google Nexus 9, because it has a 12% larger battery size.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a bit better camera than Google Nexus 9. Both have a 8 megapixels resolution camera, the same video resolution and the same video frame rates.
Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we compare here, the Google Nexus 9 is also a lot cheaper, making it a great choice.
