Comparison review
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a score of 73.3, which is better than the Huawei MediaPad M2's global score of 65.5. Although the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is incredibly heavier than the Huawei MediaPad M2, it's just a little thinner and much newer. These tablets work with Android operating system, but Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has the newer 8.0 Oreo version and Huawei MediaPad M2 has Android 5.1 Lollipop, so it gives a couple additional features and performance tweaks.
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a little better performance than Huawei MediaPad M2, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite also has a greater amount of RAM. The Huawei MediaPad M2 has a much better screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same exact 1200 x 1920 resolution, the Huawei MediaPad M2 also counts with a better pixel density.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Huawei MediaPad M2, because it has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB and 32 GB more internal memory. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite captures much clearer photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad M2. Both of them have a camera with an 8 MP resolution, the same video definition and the same video frame rates.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a way better battery life than Huawei MediaPad M2, because it has a 56% greater battery capacity.
