Comparison review
The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is a little bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, getting a 75.1 score against 73.3. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with Windows 10 Pro OS, and Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with Android 8.0 Oreo OS. Although the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 is better than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, it must be told that it is also a way older, just a little thicker and heavier device.
Microsoft Surface Pro 4 counts with a brighter screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because it has a quite higher pixel amount per inch of display, a larger screen and a much higher resolution of 1824 x 2736px. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a much more powerful processor than Microsoft Surface Pro 4, because although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with more cores.
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite shoots much better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro 4. Both have a back camera with an 8 megapixels, the same video frame rate and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition. Microsoft Surface Pro 4 features a much greater storage for apps and games than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 1000 GB internal memory capacity.

So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 4, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, giving up some features and specifications.
