Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has an overall score of 73.3, which is much better than Samsung ATIV Tab 3's 65 general score. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite's construction is way newer, a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter than the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has Android 8.0 Oreo OS, and Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with Windows 8 OS.
Samsung ATIV Tab 3 counts with a little bit better looking screen than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, although it has a much worse pixels quantity per inch in the display and a much lower resolution of 768 x 1366, they both have a screen of the same size. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. Both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with a quite better processing power than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, because it has more RAM memory and a larger number of cores (and faster). Huawei MediaPad M5 lite features a very superior battery life than Samsung ATIV Tab 3. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a way better camera than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite also has a way better resolution back-facing camera.
Although Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung ATIV Tab 3. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy Samsung ATIV Tab 3, and give up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
