Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a general score of 73.3, which is just a bit better than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1's 67.8 score. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has 8.0 Oreo version while Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has Android 4.4.2 version, so it gives some nice extra features and some performance improvements. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is a incredibly newer device, and it's also a bit lighter and a bit thinner than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1.
Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and Huawei MediaPad M5 lite both feature quite similar screens, and although the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 has much lesser pixels per display inch and a way worse 800 x 1280 resolution, they both have a display with the same size. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM and more cpu cores.
The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite features a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 256 GB. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has just a bit longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has 7500mAh of battery capacity instead of 6800mAh.
Huawei MediaPad M5 lite counts with a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, because it has a much more megapixels camera in the back and a lot better (Full HD) video resolution.
Although Huawei MediaPad M5 lite is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab 4 10.1, giving up a couple specs and features.
