Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a global score of 78.5, which is a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite's overall score of 73.3. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has the older 4.4 version while Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has Android 8.0 Oreo version. Even being the best tablet we are comparing, Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2's design is a lot older, extremely heavier and a bit thicker than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite.
Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 has a much better looking display than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because it has a bigger screen, a little bit greater screen density and a higher 1600 x 2560 pixels resolution. The Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a little bit better processing power than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with 4 more CPU cores and 1 GB more RAM.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 features a slightly better camera than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same resolution camera in the back, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 also has higher video frame rates. Huawei MediaPad M5 lite has a better storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Huawei MediaPad M5 lite also has a slot for an external memory card that allows a maximum of 256 GB.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2 counts with superior battery performance than Huawei MediaPad M5 lite, because it has 9500mAh of battery capacity instead of 7500mAh.
