The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a global score of 69.2, which is much better than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's general score of 60.4. The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 construction has the same thickness than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, but it's just a little bit lighter. Both tablets in this review include Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3, so it gives you a couple nice extra features.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 features a little bit better hardware performance than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Galaxy Note 8.0 also has a larger amount of RAM and a much better 1.06 gigahertz graphics processor. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0. They have the same display pixels density, a screen of the same size and the same exact 1280 x 800 resolution.
The Galaxy Note 8.0 has a way bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 64 GB and 8 GB more internal storage. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has just a little bit longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a 4800mAh battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 features just a bit better camera than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. They have the same video resolution, a camera with a 5 mega-pixels resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 is a bit more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
