Comparison review
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a global score of 62.7, which is a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's 60.4 general score. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has 4.0 version while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3. Although it's the best in our current comparison, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's body is way heavier and somewhat thicker than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1's processing unit is just as good as the processor in Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a lower number of cores , they both have a 400 MHz graphics co-processor and a 1 GB RAM memory. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a much better screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because although it has a way smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with more pixels per inch of screen.
Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 has a slightly bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have equal 8 GB internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 also has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 64 GB. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 features a much longer battery life than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a 46 percent larger battery capacity.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, because it has a back-facing camera with a lot higher 5 megapixels resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, letting go a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your money.
