Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is slightly better than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, getting a score of 61.4 against 60.4. These tablets have Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has 4.1 version while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3. The Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a much heavier and somewhat thicker tablet device than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0.

Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a much better looking display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), because although it has a way smaller screen, and they both have the same 1280 x 800 resolution, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with more pixels per inch of screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a slightly bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have exactly the same 8 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 64 GB.

Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features just a little better processing power than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have a 1 GB RAM memory, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a GPU and a greater number of faster cores. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), and although they both have the same 1280x720 video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a back facing camera with a lot better 5 MP resolution.

Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has a really longer battery life than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a 46% larger battery capacity.

Although Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1), else you can save a couple dollars and get the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, letting go a couple specifications.
