Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is slightly better than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, getting a 66.2 score against 60.4. Both tablets in this comparison review have Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a newer 4.4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3 version, providing the user a couple nice extra features. Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 is a somewhat lighter tablet than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, but both are equally thin.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 and the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 count with incredibly similar screens, both of them have a display of the same size, an equal resolution of 1280 x 800 and the same pixels density. The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a processor that's very similar to Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's processing unit, and although the Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 has a better graphics processing unit running at 450 MHz and a larger amount of RAM, they both have a Quad-Core processing unit.
The Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 counts with a much better storage to store more games and applications than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a SD extension slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB and more internal storage capacity. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, and although they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a lot higher resolution camera.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a bit better battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab 4 8.0, because it has an 8 percent bigger battery size.
