Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a score of 60.8, which is a little bit better than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's 60.4 general score. Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus's construction is a bit lighter but extremely thicker than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. Both tablets in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has 4.1.2 version while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3 version.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a bit larger screen, a better resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels and a just a little better pixels density. The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus has a lot bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has 32 GB internal storage and a SD card slot that holds up to 64 GB.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a bit faster CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has an additional graphics processing unit and a larger number of 1200 MHz cores. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has improved battery life than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, because it has a 4800mAh battery capacity against 4000mAh.
Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (HD) video quality, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a back camera with a way better resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, letting go some features and specifications.
