Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has an overall score of 64.8, which is a bit better than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's 60.4 score. Both tablets we compare here have Android OS (Operating System), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has an older 4.0.4 version while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a a little bit lighter tablet device than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, but they are 0.31inches thick.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 have quite similar screens, because although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 has a little smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, it also counts with a just a little greater display density. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 has just a bit better battery life than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a 6 percent larger battery capacity.
The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 shoots better photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 7.7, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same (HD) video resolution, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also has a back-facing camera with a lot higher resolution.
Although Galaxy Tab 7.7 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
