The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is just a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 8.9, getting a global score of 60.4 against 58.1. Both tablets in this comparison use Android OS, but Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a more recent 4.3 version while Galaxy Tab 8.9 has Android 3.0 version. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's body is a lot lighter and just a little thinner than Galaxy Tab 8.9.

Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a faster CPU than Galaxy Tab 8.9, because it has a graphics processing unit and a higher number of cores.
