The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is much better than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, getting a 68.3 score against 60.4. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a somewhat thicker but a little bit lighter tablet than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0. Both of these tablets include Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) has the newer 8.1 Oreo version while Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has Android 4.3, so it provides the user a couple nice extra features and improved performance.

Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a brighter screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018). Both of them have a display of the same size, an equal resolution of 1280 x 800px and the same amount of pixels in each inch of screen. The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a bit superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018), because although it has less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 also counts with an additional graphics processor.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB and 24 GB more internal memory capacity. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because it has a 4% larger battery capacity.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) captures way better photos and videos than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, and although they both have a same resolution back-facing camera, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) also has a way higher (Full HD) video definition.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2018) is a little more expensive than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, but you can get a better tablet for that few more dollars.
