Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab, with a overall score of 60.4 against 58.6. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0's design is a little lighter and much thinner than the Galaxy Tab. Both of these devices work with Android OS, but Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a newer 4.3 version and Galaxy Tab has Android 2.3.3 version.

The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 has a much better screen than Galaxy Tab, because it has a higher 1280 x 800px resolution, a little larger display and a just a little greater quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 features a greater performance than Galaxy Tab, because it has 512 MB more RAM, an extra graphics processor and a higher number of cores.

The Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with a little bit better camera than Galaxy Tab, because it has a back facing camera with way more MP and a way better 1280x720 (HD) video definition. Galaxy Tab features a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity.

Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 counts with superior battery performance than Galaxy Tab, because it has 4800mAh of battery capacity.

Although Huawei MediaPad T1 8.0 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Galaxy Tab, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Galaxy Tab, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
