Both tablets in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Galaxy Note 8.0 has 4.4.2 version and Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro has Android 5.1 Lollipop version. The Galaxy Note 8.0 is an way older tablet than the Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro, but it's a bit thinner and extremely lighter anyway.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 has a little faster processor than Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro, because although it has lesser cpu cores , and they both have 2 GB of RAM, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 also counts with an additional graphics processor. The Huawei MediaPad T2 10.0 Pro counts with a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, because it has a bigger screen, a little higher pixels density and a lot better resolution of 1920 x 1200.
