Huawei MediaPad X2 is better than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, getting a general score of 72.7 against 62.5. These devices use Android OS, but the Huawei MediaPad X2 has the previous 5.0 version while Alcatel JOY TAB 2 has Android 10 version. Huawei MediaPad X2 is an much older tablet than the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, but Huawei was able to build it lighter and somewhat thinner anyway.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a lot better looking screen than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a lot greater pixels density. The Alcatel JOY TAB 2 features a bit more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Huawei MediaPad X2, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Alcatel JOY TAB 2 also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 256 GB.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 features a little bit better performance than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and although they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a 64-bits CPU and a higher number of 2000 megahertz cores. Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with longer battery life than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
Alcatel JOY TAB 2 captures clearer videos and photos than Huawei MediaPad X2, although it has a lower 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a much worse resolution camera.
Although Huawei MediaPad X2 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Alcatel JOY TAB 2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Alcatel JOY TAB 2. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei MediaPad X2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Alcatel JOY TAB 2, resigning some features and specs.
