The Huawei MediaPad X2 has an overall score of 72.7, which is way better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020)'s 59.7 overall score. Both tablets in this review use Android operating system, but the Huawei MediaPad X2 has 5.0 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version. The Huawei MediaPad X2 is an incredibly older tablet than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), but it is extremely thinner and notably lighter anyway.
Huawei MediaPad X2 has a bit better processing unit than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have a 3 GB RAM, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has 4 more 2 GHz cores and a 64-bit processing unit. Huawei MediaPad X2 has a way better display than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better resolution of 1920 x 1200px and a lot more pixels per display inch.
Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) counts with a way bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei MediaPad X2, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has a SD card slot that allows up to 1000 GB. The Huawei MediaPad X2 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because it has a lot more MP back facing camera and a lot better video definition.
Huawei MediaPad X2 features a very superior battery performance than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).
Although Huawei MediaPad X2 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei MediaPad X2, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), letting go some specs and features.
