Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has a global score of 77.4, which is just a bit better than Huawei MediaPad X2's 72.7 global score. Both tablets in this review come with Android operating system, but the Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) has the previous 4.4.2 version and Huawei MediaPad X2 has Android 5.0 version. Although it's the best we are comparing here, Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)'s design is older, incredibly heavier and a bit thicker than Huawei MediaPad X2.

The Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with just a bit better looking display than Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because although it has a much lower 1920 x 1200 resolution and a much smaller display, it also counts with a little bit greater pixels number in each inch of display. The GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a quite bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Huawei MediaPad X2, because although it has a SD card slot that allows a maximum of 64 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with more internal memory capacity.

Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, and they both have 3 GB of RAM, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also counts with a 64-bits processor and 4 more cores (although slower).

The Huawei MediaPad X2 takes clearer photos and videos than GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition), and although they both have the same (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a way more mega pixels back-facing camera. Samsung GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) counts with a really longer battery performance than Huawei MediaPad X2, because it has a 64 percent bigger battery size.

GALAXY Note 10.1 (2014 Edition) costs more money than Huawei MediaPad X2, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
