The Huawei MediaPad X2 is a a little thinner and lighter tablet device than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, even when they were released only 1 months apart.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 has a better performing processing unit than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a higher amount of RAM, a higher number of faster cores and a 64-bit CPU. The Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a much better screen than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a lot more pixels per inch in the display.
Huawei MediaPad X2 captures much clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a lot higher (Full HD) video definition and a camera with a much better 13 megapixels resolution. Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a way bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has 16 GB more internal storage.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with longer battery duration than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
Although Huawei MediaPad X2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab A 8.0. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Huawei MediaPad X2, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab A 8.0, resigning some features and specs.
