Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a score of 74.5, which is just a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad X2's 72.7 general score. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has 4.4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad X2 has Android 5.0. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is an older and heavier device than Huawei MediaPad X2, but Samsung was able to make it just a little thinner anyway.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 features a bit sharper screen than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, although it has a much lower 1920 x 1200 resolution, a little bit smaller screen and a little worse screen density. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4's storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos is very similar to the Huawei MediaPad X2 one, they have exactly the same internal storage capacity and a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
The Huawei MediaPad X2 features just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei MediaPad X2 also has a 64-bit processing unit. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a bit better camera than Huawei MediaPad X2, although it has a lower (Full HD) video resolution and a back camera with a lot lower 8 mega pixels resolution.
Huawei MediaPad X2 counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 2% more battery size.
The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 not only is the best tablets in this comparison, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones.
