Comparison review
Acer Predator 8 is just a bit better than Huawei MediaPad, getting a 57.7 score against 56.4. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Acer Predator 8 has a more recent 5.1 Lollipop version while Huawei MediaPad has Android 4.0, offering some nice extra features. Acer Predator 8's construction is somewhat thinner and somewhat lighter than the Huawei MediaPad.
The Huawei MediaPad has a slightly better screen than Acer Predator 8, although it has a lot lower 800 x 1280 resolution, a little smaller screen and a quite inferior amount of pixels per display inch. Acer Predator 8 features a bit better performance than Huawei MediaPad, because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM and a higher number of cores.
Huawei MediaPad takes much clearer videos and photos than Acer Predator 8. Both of them have a same resolution back facing camera. The Acer Predator 8 features a very superior storage capacity for applications and games than Huawei MediaPad, because it has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 128 GB and 32 GB internal memory capacity.
Acer Predator 8 features a bit better battery performance than Huawei MediaPad, because it has an 8 percent greater battery capacity.
Although Acer Predator 8 is a better device, it costs more than Huawei MediaPad, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei MediaPad. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Huawei MediaPad, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your money.
