Comparison review
The Alcatel 3T 8 is slightly better than the Huawei MediaPad, with a 58.6 score against 56.4. Both tablets in this review use Android OS, but Alcatel 3T 8 has newer 8.1 Oreo version and Huawei MediaPad has Android 4.0, providing some nice extra features and a performance increase. The Alcatel 3T 8 design is noticeably lighter and thinner than the Huawei MediaPad.
The Huawei MediaPad features a sharper screen than Alcatel 3T 8, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280, the Huawei MediaPad also counts with a little greater pixels count in each screen inch. The Alcatel 3T 8 has a bit superior processing unit than Huawei MediaPad, because although it has doesn't have an extra graphics processor, it also counts with a higher amount of RAM memory and a larger number of faster cores.
Alcatel 3T 8 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Huawei MediaPad. Both have the same 30 fps video frame rates, the same 1280x720 video definition and the same resolution back-facing camera. Alcatel 3T 8 counts with a very superior memory to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad, because it has 16 GB internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that holds up to 128 GB.
Alcatel 3T 8 counts with a battery life that's very similar to the Huawei MediaPad one, although the Alcatel 3T 8 has 4080mAh of battery capacity.
