Comparison review
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 67.9, which is a lot better than the Huawei MediaPad's 56.4 overall score. Both tablets in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has newer 4.4 version and Huawei MediaPad has Android 4.0, so it provides lots of additional features. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a incredibly thinner and a little lighter device than the Huawei MediaPad.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 counts with a brighter display than Huawei MediaPad, because it has a way higher 1600 x 2560 resolution, way more pixels per inch in the display and a larger display. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a much greater storage to store more apps and games than Huawei MediaPad, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a better CPU than Huawei MediaPad, because although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, it also counts with a greater number of cores (and faster) and more RAM. The Huawei MediaPad has a really longer battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a slightly better camera than Huawei MediaPad, because it has a way higher 8 megapixels resolution camera in the back and a much higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 costs a lot more than the Huawei MediaPad, but it's still a good choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
